Privacy Policy

The short version: I don't use cookies. I don't track you. I don't sell your data. The only personal data I collect is your email address — if you explicitly give it to me — and your payment information, which is handled entirely by my payment processor. Your app data never leaves your device. Ever.

Who I am

PayOnceApps is a one-person software shop. This policy covers payonceapps.com and all products sold under the PayOnceApps name. The legal entity is Desk Trove Rojas, owned and operated by Erik Ernesto Løkken Rojas, an Enkeltpersonforetak (sole proprietorship) registered in Norway (Org.nr: 930 582 263), Glimmerveien 12, 1155 Oslo.

What data I collect — and why

1. Email address (optional)

If you sign up for the product waitlist or newsletter, I store your email address. That's it. I use it for one purpose: sending you a message when a new product ships.

  • No welcome sequence. No drip campaigns. No “content marketing.”
  • Waitlist emails are processed via Resend. Their privacy policy applies to that data.
  • You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email I send you.

2. Payment information

Payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record. I never see or store your full card number, billing address, or any raw payment details. Paddle handles checkout, global tax calculation, and receipt delivery directly with you.

3. Your app data

All data you create or enter inside any PayOnceApps product — invoices, client records, budgets, transactions — is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device.

  • None of this data is uploaded to any server.
  • None of this data is accessible to me, or any third party.
  • I have no visibility into what you do inside the product.

This is a fundamental architectural guarantee, not a policy promise. The products make zero network calls. There is no server to send your data to.

Cookies and tracking

I do not use cookies. I do not use analytics (no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no session recording tools). I do not have any interest in building a profile of your browsing behavior.

This website uses next/font to serve Inter locally — no requests to Google Fonts servers.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU or Norway, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you (your email, if you signed up)
  • Request deletion of that data at any time
  • Object to how I process it

To exercise any of these rights, email me directly: support@payonceapps.com. I will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

I keep your email address until you ask me to remove it, or until I close the waitlist. Payment records are retained by my payment processor according to their legal obligations.

Changes to this policy

If I make a material change to this policy, I will update the date at the top of this page.
