PayOnceApps is a one-person shop making premium HTML mini-apps — professional tools you buy once and own forever. Every product follows my Three Locks standard: offline-first, API-free, and delivered as a single self-contained HTML file.

Three Locks is my architectural standard — the three guarantees every PayOnceApps product must meet:

• Lock 1 — Offline-First: The product works without an internet connection. Always. Every resource is embedded in the file. No network calls.
• Lock 2 — API-Free: The product doesn't call any external services. No analytics, no CDN, no third-party integrations. Nothing phoning home.
• Lock 3 — Single-File: The product is one HTML file. Open it in any browser on any device. No installation. No dependencies. No App Store.

All three locks must be in place. If any one is missing, the product isn't ready to ship.

Yes. When I release an update to any product, existing customers receive it free.

Because your data is stored locally in your browser, your data is portable between versions. You simply download the new file and import your data — which typically takes less than a minute.

I'll notify you by email when updates are available (if you opt in at purchase). There's no obligation to update — the version you have will continue to work exactly as it does today.

My products include responsive layouts optimized for both desktop and mobile experiences. You're not getting a “mobile-limited” version — you're getting a purpose-built layout for each screen size, in the same file.

Open source software is freely available but typically requires technical knowledge to install, configure, and maintain. The source code is public, but running it often isn't simple.

This is the architectural guarantee behind Three Locks — specifically Lock 1 and Lock 2. My products don't depend on my servers. They don't make API calls to my infrastructure. They don't require a license check.

If I disappeared tomorrow, every copy of every product I've ever shipped would continue to work — unchanged — on every device it's currently installed on.
