For what it does — yes, and in some ways better. My tools are fast, private, and always available. They don't have every feature under the sun, and that's intentional. Subscription apps bloat because they have to justify the monthly charge. My tools do one thing exceptionally well and stay out of your way.

Nothing changes for you. Every product runs entirely on your device — my servers are not involved at runtime. If I shut down tomorrow, every copy of every product would keep working exactly as it does today, forever.
